Valerio Paolini, PhD

PhD in Chemistry at Sapienza University of Rome, since 2012 he carries out his research activities at the National Research Council of Italy, Institute of Atmospheric Pollution Research (CNR-IIA).

His research has focuses on the environmental assessment of bioenergy and renewable gas, with a special attention to biogas upgrading by zeolites. Other areas of interest include sustainable mobility and resource recovery from waste in circular economy. 

He contributed to the development of a biomethane purification methodology based on natural zeolites, and holds an international patent for filtering of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from the atmosphere.
