Lorenzo Gianquintieri

Lorenzo Gianquintieri obtained a Ph.D. (2022) with an interdepartmental scholarship between the Electronics, Information and Bioengineering dpt. and the Civil and Environmental Engineering dpt. at Politecnico di Milano. As untenured researcher (RTDA) in the same institution, his line of research is focused on Health-Geomatics, i.e. the application of geomatics technologies to health and healthcare-related data, with an orientation towards data science methods (in particular Machine Learning and GeoAI models) for environmental epidemiology. The intended outcome are analysis frameworks and processing platforms to serve as decision-making support in the management of healthcare related resources, territorial risk stratification, and disease prevention.
