Casimiro Vizzini
Dr. Casimiro Vizzini is a medical doctor with nearly two decades of international experience at the intersection of science, health, diplomacy, and education. He has led and contributed to major global initiatives in science policy, public health, and sustainable development, with a strong focus on multilateral engagement, strategic partnerships, and resource mobilization. At UNESCO, he spent over 12 years designing and managing international science diplomacy, education, and innovation programs—many funded by the European Commission. He later served as Secretary General of the European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH), coordinating policy engagement and advocacy efforts across academic institutions. Currently, he leads institutional relations at the One Sustainable Health for All Foundation and works as a Science Diplomacy Consultant with the Health Diplomacy Alliance. His work bridges governments, civil society, academia, and multilateral organizations to advance collaborative and sustainable global health and education solutions.
