Antonio Cristaldi, born in Catania, Italy. Biologist, PhD Graduate, Researcher at the University of Catania.
His experience at LIAA (Laboratorio di Igiene Ambientale e degli Alimenti), University of Catania, began in November 2012 as a student, and I wrote my graduation thesis entitled: Estimation of urinary levels of metabolites of DEHP (di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate) in the general population.
In March 2017, he obtained the PhD in Geological, Biological and Environmental Sciences – curriculum Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, University of Catania, with a research project on the “Study of Endophytic Filamentous Fungi and Prospects for use in Phytoremediation of Contaminated Soils by Heavy metals and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons. Visiting Researcher at Tecnatox Laboratories, Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain.
In 2017 and 2018, he has been Research Scholar in University of Catania.
In 2019, he was Research Fellow (Disciplinary Scientific Sector MED/42 – General and Applied Hygiene), University of Catania.
From April 2020 to present, he is Researcher in “General and Applied Hygiene” (DSS MED/42) at the Department of Medical, Surgical and Advanced Technologies Sciences “G.F. Ingrassia”, University of Catania.
Professor of “General and Applied Hygiene” and of “Environmental and Food Hygiene” at the degree courses of Obstetrics, Audioprosthetic Techniques and Biomedical Laboratory Technician, University of Catania.
